Pt. Shailesh Bhagwat

Pandit Shailesh Bhagwat is a highly revered Shehnai virtuoso, acclaimed as the foremost disciple of the legendary Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan Saheb. With a musical journey spanning over five decades, he has imbibed the rich “sanskaar” of his revered Guru, mastering the soulful gayaki ang technique that mimics the nuances of the human voice. His profound command of intricate ragas and his pioneering work on the physics of wind instruments underscore his dual commitment to the spiritual and scientific dimensions of Hindustani classical music. Pt. Bhagwat's artistry has captivated audiences at prestigious national and international music festivals, where he has performed with humility and an unwavering devotion to the Shehnai tradition.

Equally at home in classical, semi-classical, and light music forms, Pt. Bhagwat’s versatility extends beyond the concert stage. He has contributed significantly to Bollywood orchestration and has been a frequent performer on All India Radio and television. His engagements with SPIC MACAY and other cultural forums reflect his dedication to nurturing a deeper appreciation for Indian classical music among younger generations. Sri Lakshminarayana Pisupati
Sri Lakshminarayana Pisupati is a versatile violinist who began his musical journey with vocal Carnatic music at the age of six at the Music Academy in Chennai. He transitioned to violin at fourteen, studying under Shri Gottuvadyam Srinivasa Iyengar and Shri C.N. Chandrasekaran. His training continued under several eminent gurus, including B.R.C. Iyengar (Hyderabad), L. Subramaniam, T.K. Govinda Rao, R.K. Shriramkumar, and Padma Narayanaswamy.
Lakshminarayana also trained in Hindustani classical music under the legendary violinist Dr. N. Rajam, further enriching his musical expression with a blend of traditions.
He recently performed at the Festival of Tabla 2024 in Los Angeles, collaborating with renowned cellist Chris Votek.
