Lakshminarayan Pisupati

Lakshminarayana Pisupati is a versatile violinist who began his musical journey with vocal Carnatic music at the age of six at the Music Academy in Chennai. He transitioned to violin at fourteen, studying under Shri Gottuvadyam Srinivasa Iyengar, Shri C.N. Chandrasekaran and N. Rajam . His training continued under several eminent gurus, including B.R.C. Iyengar (Hyderabad), L. Subramaniam, T.K. Govinda Rao, R.K. Shriramkumar, and Padma Narayanaswamy.

Lakshminarayana was also trained in Hindustani classical music under the legendary violinist Dr. N. Rajam, further enriching his musical expression with a blend of traditions.
He recently performed at the Festival of Tabla 2024 in Los Angeles, collaborating with renowned cellist Chris Votek.
