Originally from Mumbai, India, Farida Shums has called the United States home since 1978. With a diverse professional background in photography and banking, she is now retired but remains actively engaged as a part-time substitute teacher. Farida is passionate about volunteering and enjoys giving back to her community whenever possible. A lifelong learner and global citizen at heart, she loves traveling and connecting with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
